Brahms : ein deutsches Requiem

The Choir Academy has been thought to gather well-trained singers, singers who already know the selected pieces of music or those who are ready to learn about them before coming to the session (see on Internet site “Fichiers Midi”).It’s all about singers whose capacity of concentration can’t be set aside. On the contrary it will work not only in a inquiring and helpful pleasant way but also with regular keen efforts on a hard work. Demanding task but successful happy concerts at the end of the fortnignt … no doubt ! Together with Artùr Carneiro and his assistant a special time will be scheduled during the lessons so that specific questions about musical working problems can be examined or discussed. Artùr CARNEIRO was born in Lisboa where he studied music. As a choir master, he trained beside Michel CORBOZ , Heintz HENNIG, Vassal ARNAOUDOF et Günther THEURING. For now he does work alongside with Michel CORBOZ and Fernando ELDORO at the Gulbenkian Choir in Lisboa. After taking lessons with Juliette BISE and Peter SEFTZIK, he has been singing as a solist himself (baryton voice), then performing troughout the world. Artùr Carneiro is also the Choirmaster in the Children Masterclass of the Academy Sainte Cécile which is part of great performances with Claudio SCIMONE, Raphaël KUBELIK, Michel CORBOZ, Franz BRÜGGEN, Théodore GUSHELBAUER, Richard HICKOK, ..Moreover he is responsible for the National Comity in charge of the Little Singers of the World as a director at the Unicef Institution, making the group’s voices clear, ready to claim children’s rights.

Guitar Academy

(Session from the 15th to the 22nd July of 2012)

Program :

Participants will train and work either on their own selected music books they have chosen to bring along or any other ones suggested by the direction board. Jad AZKOUL

Jad Azkoul gives lessons on how to play the guitar in Genova at the « Conservatoire populaire de musique de Genève”. He also works in collaboration with Maestro Abel CARLEVARO.
Joseph Mc Lellan writes in the Washington Post : 

« Azkoul can make his instrument sing. This is a skill far more important than the ability to whip out thousands of notes per minute accurately and expressively, which he can also do».

Organ academy

(Session from the 15th to the 22nd July of 2012)

Direction :Marie-Virginie DELORME

After having directed a music-school in the Moselle during ten years where he himself had been teaching how to play the organ, Norbert PETRY has been a harmony professor at the University of Metz for another ten Years. He now teaches as a professor at the CNR (Conservatoire National de Région) of Metz as a specialist on how to play and consider the “Renaissance” organ. He still gives numerous concerts and performances (advanced training course and academy) in France and throughout Europe.
